Marion Township Receives Grant to Upgrade Fire Department Cardiac Monitors and CPR Devices

Marion Township in Marion County announced that it has been awarded an Assistance to Firefighters Grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The grant award of $167,160 will be used to upgrade the Marion Township Fire Department‘s cardiac monitors and mechanical CPR devices, which are more than 10 years old.

Following approval at Tuesday evening’s monthly board meeting, the project will proceed as planned.
