Middlefield Bank Supports Kenton’s Historic Downtown with $5,000 Donation to Improvement Grant Program

The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance and the Kenton Historic Courthouse District announced that Middlefield Bank donated $5,000 to support the efforts of the Downtown Improvement Grant Program.

The Kenton Historic Courthouse District is a nonprofit corporation and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance.

The purpose of the nonprofit corporation is supporting preservation and business in Kenton’s historic downtown.

The Kenton Historic Courthouse District Downtown Kenton Building and Business Owners’ Association offers a Downtown Improvement Grant Program to incentivize improvements and other worthy projects that enhance downtown Kenton.

Since the start of the program in 2023, several Downtown businesses have been supported in their revitalization efforts.
