There were no injuries reported after a car struck a house in Marion Sunday at just after noon.

According to the report from the Marion Police Department, 33-year-old Kaylyn Radcliff was driving east in the 100 block of Walnut Street when the axle broke underneath the car.

That caused Radcliff to lose control of the vehicle, and she steered it to avoid hitting other vehicles.

It ended up off the road and crashed into the front of the house.

The report showed that Radcliff had knowledge of the defect, and she was cited for operating an unsafe vehicle.
