
A long-time member of the medical profession opted to try something different, a program called Juice Plus, to combat a condition that she is certain would have claimed her life.
Registered Nurse Maureen Green, also known as Nurse Mo, said she was on a number of medications for colitis, but they were only controlling the systems, and they were also cost prohibitive.
At a low point in her life, but with a desire to live long enough to at least see her kids graduate from high school, Nurse Mo said she felt led to try something different, “God was really just tapping on my shoulder and saying, ‘are you going to do what I showed you four years ago? I showed you four years ago what I wanted you to do,’ and I had missed it, because I was so focused on how I wanted the blessing to be presented that I completely missed it, and I remember thinking about it, ‘what are fruits and vegetables going to do for my body that medication can’t do?’”
