Late spring and early summer are peak times to get out and fish as the water temperatures warm here in the Buckeye State.
The Ohio Division of Wildlife encourages you to introduce someone new to fishing on your next fishing adventure.
Right now, saugeye at Indian Lake can be caught by trolling crankbaits in areas clear of vegetation or by casting jigs tipped with soft plastics, minnows, or nightcrawlers.
Ohio anglers 16 years of age and older are reminded to obtain a valid Ohio fishing license before engaging in fishing in Ohio waters.
Fishing licenses can be purchased online at www.wildohio.gov.
