Ohio Northern University has received a $1.19 million Choose Ohio First grant from the Ohio Department of Education to support students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or STEM, and health professions.
Choose Ohio First is an important part of Ohio’s strategy to develop STEM talent in the Buckeye State.
This new award will be used, starting in 2025, to help drive enrollment and support ONU students in computer science, computer engineering, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, mathematics and more.
In addition to scholarship support, ONU provides students with experiential and work-based learning through strategic partnerships with employers in the region.
