Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission Issues Scam Alert
The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission issued a scam alert.
Text messages purportedly from the Ohio Turnpike Tolls Service have been sent informing people that they owe money for unpaid tolls.
The Ohio Turnpike does not request payments by text.
Collection of unpaid tolls and/or toll violations do not occur by text either.
The only website links associated with the Ohio Turnpike’s E-Z Pass accounts are ezpassoh.com and ohioturnpike.org.
