The OhioMeansJobs Hardin County and Area 8 Workforce Development Board announced that they received the Drive On Responsibly Grant from the state.

The program is proposed to assist unemployed, or underemployed, adults in obtaining valid driving privileges and employment, regardless of whether they have never had a license or lost that privilege.

Participants determined eligible will be enrolled in the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act Adult program, which offers one-time funding for driving courses, license fees, reinstatement fees, and up to one year of vehicle insurance.

Enrollment in the program will ensure continued support from the OhioMeansJobs staff until participants’ goals are met.
