One Woman Critically Injured in Reported Accidental Discharge of a Weapon in Findlay

The Findlay Police Department is investigating a reported accidental discharge of a weapon that occurred this afternoon in Hancock County.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched at 2:03 p.m. today, November 14, to 1640 Queenswood Drive. Upon arrival, officers located Sierra Eady, 35, and Breanna Gonzales, 31, both of Findlay in the residence.

According to the report, Breanna Gonzales sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sierra Eady was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
