Parents and Guardians Advised on Hardin Northern’s 3-Hour Delay Procedures

Hardin Northern Superintendent Drew Cano informed district residents that the school has the capability of calling a 3-hour delay.

Over the last couple of years, they have yet to use it, but he said with the possibility of a rough winter, the 3-hour delay may save them a calamity day for future use.

In that scenario, buses will leave 3 hours later than their normally scheduled time, and school will start for students at 11:20 am.

The students will still be released at the normal 3:15 afternoon time.

Cano added that hopefully, they will not need to use the 3-hour delay, but if the situation arises, he wanted parents and guardians to have preparations in place.
