Pedestrian Struck by Car in Kenton Early Wednesday Morning

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 300 block of East Forest Road in Kenton at around 12:50 this (07/16/25) morning.

According to a release from the Kenton Police Department, 30-year-old Tobin Gaukin was walking south in the northbound lane and was struck by a vehicle being operated by 43-year-old Jennifer Johnson, of Forest.

Gaukin was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima with serious injuries.

Disabling damage occurred to the car, but Johnson was not injured.
