Kenton City Council Member Chad Miller, from the city’s fourth ward, is asking residents to consider running for a position on the City Charter Commission.
Council voted last month to put a proposal to create a new city charter commission on the ballot in November.
Miller stated that this is a big opportunity for residents, “It’s really a once in a lifetime thing even for the 15-member commission. You would be a founding man or woman of our city. The charter is basically in essence a constitution for your city, so you would be a founding father in essence of that.”
