Red Cross Urges Blood Donations Amid Critical Need

The American Red Cross said there is a critical need and is urging the public to donate blood or platelets to maintain a steady blood supply.

Those donating today through August 28 will receive free A1C testing plus a $15 e-gift card.

There are two blood drives around the area this month.

One will be held August 6 from 10am until 4pm at OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.

Another one is scheduled for August 18 from noon until 6pm at the Belle Center United Methodist Church in Belle Center.
