
The newly remodeled Kenton Walmart Supercenter will hold a grand re-opening celebration event this Friday, August 29.
It will start with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00am Friday morning.
Kenton Mayor Lynn Jones Webb will be in attendance, as will representatives from the Kenton Police and Fire departments, Kenton City Schools, Hardin County Sheriff’s Department, and the Hardin County Animal Shelter.
National brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Celsius, Kellogg’s, Little Debbie, and Nabisco will be on-hand offering samples and special giveaways to attendees.
Local organizations that are making an impact throughout the community will be recognized.
The event will also include the appreciation of several long-term Walmart associates.
Walmart is located at 1241 East Columbus Street in Kenton.
