2nd Ward residents in the City of Kenton are being informed that starting Monday, May 13th, and continuing throughout the week, the community will see fire hydrant flow tests being conducted in the area.

That could also possibly stretch into following week as well.

This essential maintenance work is crucial for ensuring that the fire hydrants are in top working order.

During this period, you may notice a temporary decrease in water pressure or a slight discoloration in your water.

That is normal and temporary, but it is recommended that you avoid doing laundry on the days your area is affected to prevent any possible staining.
