Residents in the Ridgemont School District are being reminded that if they receive SNAP or Medicaid, they will automatically qualify for $120 per child in grocery benefits.
If a current student of Ridgemont receives free or reduced meals, they will automatically receive this benefit and will not need to apply for it as well.
If you have a SNAP card it will load onto your existing card.
If you do not have a SNAP card one will be mailed, and you will need to register the card and assign a Personal Identification Number.
Benefits will be sent beginning in mid- June, and since it will be a rolling start, not all benefits will arrive at the same time.
You will have 122 days to use the benefits from the time of issuance.
