Ridgemont Public Library Hosting “The Mounds of Hardin County” Event in Partnership With Hardin County Historical Museums

Ridgemont Public Library in collaboration with Hardin County Historical Museums is hosting The Mounds of Hardin County on Saturday, June 8th at 11:00am. 

The event will be led by Ken Newman of the Hardin County Historical Museums who will discuss local mounds, features and historical significance of the mounds.  He will also share photographs and findings from Hardin County. 

This event is to help residents learn more about Indian Kame cultures and shed light on history that has nearly been forgotten. 

The event will be held at the Ridgemont Public Library, located at 109 S. Main Street in Ridgeway.
