The 3E, or Employed, Enlisted, Enrolled Initiative continues its mission to guide students toward their future careers with an upcoming event on January 28th.
Seventh and eighth graders from Ada, Kenton, and Upper Scioto Valley will join host school Ridgemont to connect with professionals from across the region.
The goal of this Career Day is to provide hands-on exposure to a wide range of industries, including specialized roles students might not encounter in their everyday lives.
From law enforcement and engineering to skilled trades and healthcare, students will engage in interactive tasks and interview local experts about their daily routines and educational requirements.
Organized by Karen Sorreles of the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center and the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce & Business Alliance, the event is a vital part of the middle school curriculum designed to help students begin planning their unique paths to success.
