Russells Point Flags Lowered to Half-Staff in Honor of Mayor Robin Reames

Flags in the Village of Russells Point are being flown at half-staff following the death of Mayor Robin Reames.

At the request of Mayor John Huffman, a proclamation was issued ordering all flags at municipal buildings and public grounds within the village to be lowered to half-staff as a sign of mourning and respect. The order took effect Saturday, January 3, 2026, and will remain in place until Mayor Reames is laid to rest.

The Russells Point Police Department also issued a notice asking the community to join in honoring Mayor Reames’ life and service.

Mayor Reames passed away January 3, 2026.
