
September is officially designated as Ohio Preparedness Month by the state of Ohio and coordinated by the Ohio Emergency Management Agency.
Ohio Preparedness Month is a campaign aimed at enhancing public awareness and providing education regarding essential strategies for effectively preparing for emergencies, disasters, or unforeseen circumstances that may arise.
The 2025 Ohio Preparedness Month theme is “Prepare Your Home for Disaster,” which provides insights on best practices and strategies to ready your residence before disaster strikes.
Each week of the month has a theme which discusses a different aspect of preparedness
