Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Putnam, Van Wert, and Allen Counties Until Midnight

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning effective until midnight (04/03/25).

This warning affects Putnam, Van Wert, and Allen Counties, and southeastern Paulding County in west central Ohio.

These storms are capable of producing wind gusts up to 70 mph.

Widespread impacts are expected, including significant tree damage, and potential damage to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Communities at risk include Ottawa, Bluffton, Elida, and Spencerville, among others.

The warning also includes Interstate 75 between mile markers 119 and 141.
