Shoppers Can Use Ohio Direction Card at Hancock County Farmers Market and Receive Produce Perks

The Hancock County Farmers’ Market, in partnership with United Way of Hancock County, Habitat for Humanity Financial Opportunity Center Findlay , and OSU Extension Hancock County recently announced that market shoppers can use their Ohio Direction Card to purchase locally grown and made foods at the farmers’ market in Findlay.

The public is invited to stop at the WELCOME canopy at the farmers’ market on Thursday afternoons from 4:00pm to 6:00pm pm.

The Hancock County Farmers’ Market also offers Produce Perks which provides a $25 match on SNAP/EBT purchases. Any amount spent with SNAP/EBT, up to $25, will be matched $1-for-$1. Produce Perks matching dollars can be spent on fruits and vegetables. Sign up is not required for the Produce Perks program. All you need to do is bring your EBT card.

The Hancock County Farmers’ Market is held every Thursday from May through the end of October.  It is held in the parking lot of the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts at 200 West Main Cross, in Findlay.
