South East Hardin North West Union Joint Fire District Called to Water Rescue on SR 31 in Union County Last Night
Heavy rains led to flooded roads throughout the area Wednesday evening.
The South East Hardin North West Union Joint Fire District was called to a water rescue in the 33,000 block of State Route 31 in Union County’s Washington Township.
SR 31 was reduced to one lane while crews made the successful rescue.
Both lanes were reopened, but standing water remained for some time in many locations.
