State Rep. Jon Cross to Host Press Conference with Members of Governor Mike DeWine’s Administration on Legislation to Promote Seatbelt Safety
State Rep. Jon Cross will host a press conference with members of Governor Mike DeWine’s Administration on newly introduced legislation to promote seatbelt safety.
The press conference will be held Wednesday, May 8th starting at 9:00am at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.
The bill will specifically make the failure to wear a seatbelt or the failure to properly secure a child in the appropriate booster seat or seat belt a primary offense.
Current law designates this as a secondary offense.
