Three Ridgemont FFA members have earned the highest honor awarded by the National FFA Organization — the American FFA Degree.
Hannah McKinniss, Kaelyn Saylor, and Taylor Payne were announced as recipients of the prestigious degree and will be recognized on stage during the National FFA Convention on October 25.
The requirements to earn the American FFA Degree are set forth in the National FFA Constitution. To be eligible, members must meet a number of qualifications, including receiving a State FFA Degree, maintaining active membership for at least three years, completing secondary instruction in an agricultural education program, and operating an outstanding supervised agricultural experience program. Candidates must also demonstrate exceptional community service, leadership skills, and academic achievement.
This distinguished honor reflects years of hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence in agriculture.
