Tiffin University to Host Drone Safety Day This Saturday
Drone Safety Day is scheduled for this Saturday April 26 at Tiffin University, located at 350 Miami Street in Tiffin.
The event is hosted by Tiffin University’s Drone Academy and presented by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The purpose of the day is to promote safe drone operations and showcase their benefits for hobbyists and professionals.
It is part of the Federal Aviation Administration’s annual campaign to educate attendees on responsible drone use.
Those attending will learn how to fly a drone, understand airspace restrictions and where you can fly safely, use weather considerations for Drone flights and more.
It is free and open to everyone.
