Two Arrested for OVI at Marion Checkpoint; 430 Vehicles Screened on August 8

The Ohio State Highway Patrol released the results of an OVI checkpoint that was held in City of Marion on Friday, August 8.

It was held in conjunction with the Marion City Police Department on Mount Vernon Avenue near Forest Lawn Boulevard.

Officers made contact with 430 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint.

6 vehicles were diverted for further investigation, and 2 drivers were arrested for OVI.

One driver was issued a citation for No Operators License.
