UNOH Confers more than 900 Degrees & Diplomas at Graduation Ceremonies on June 8

The University of Northwestern Ohio’s 105th annual commencement exercises will be held on Sunday, June 8, at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center.  A total of 757 graduates from the College of Applied Technologies, College of Business, College of Health Professions, College of Occupational Professions, and Graduate College will receive 934 diplomas and degrees. 140 students have earned two or more credentials.

The 2025 University of Northwestern Ohio graduates represent 38 states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Puerto Rico) and 18 countries (Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, South Africa, Spain, United States, and United Kingdom).

International students will be recognized with stoles marking their country of heritage, and all military service members and veterans will be recognized with red, white, and blue cords. These graduates and faculty members are being acknowledged to show respect for their service to the United States.

This year, the University Grand Marshal is Mrs. Kim Clevenger. Clevenger is the Financial Aid Director at UNOH. Clevenger has been employed by UNOH for 21 years. Jacob Fairhall was chosen as the Student Marshal for this year’s graduating class. He will graduate in 2026 with associate degrees in Automotive Technology, High Performance Motorsports Technology, and Hybrid Electric Vehicle Technology.
