Upper Scioto Valley Schools have released the approved calendar for the 2025-26 school year, with the first day of classes set for Wednesday, August 13.

The school year kicks off with an Open House on Monday, August 11.

Families should also note that there will be no school from September 2–5 due to Fair Week.

In addition, the district announced that all students will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch through the same meal program that supported students last year, ensuring access to nutritious meals throughout the school year.

All Upper Scioto Valley students in grades Pre-K through 12 will receive free breakfast and lunch every school day again during the 2025–26 school year through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), regardless of family income.

CEP is a federal program that allows qualifying districts to provide free meals to all students without collecting household applications.
