Kindergarten vaccination rates for measles, mumps and rubella at Upper Scioto Valley have increased since the start of the current school year.

According to a release earlier today from Superintendent Craig Hurley, the rate was 66.7% at the beginning of the current school year.

By November of 2024, School Nurse Katie Hunsicker, in conjunction with Health Partners of Western Ohio, held an immunization clinic at the school.

Once the clinic was held, the school’s Kindergarten vaccination rate improved to 92.8%.
