Veterans’ Service Commission Hosting Veteran’s Family Fishing Tournament At Boy Scout Lake in Kenton
A veteran’s family fishing tournament will be held at Veterans Park, also known as Boy Scout Lake in Kenton this Saturday.
All veterans and their immediate family members are welcome to attend the 3rd annual event from 9 until 11:30 Saturday morning.
The veteran must register themselves and their family members with the Veterans’ Service Office to be entered into the tournament.
Only registered participants will be able to win a trophy, along with being served a free light lunch after the event.
The winners of the tournament will be determined based off the largest fish caught.
This event is being hosted by the Veterans’ Service Commission and is being sponsored by local donors, including American Legion Post 198, Amvets Post 1994, and VFW Post 1182.
