Village of Alger officials are asking Alger residents for their input concerning Halloween.

The question is should the village hold a traditional door-to-door Trick-or-Treat or host a Trunk-or-Treat event on Main Street instead.

Due to ongoing safety concerns with increased semi-truck traffic being detoured through town, the village is exploring the possibility of closing a section of Main Street, from North to Lee Street, for a centralized safe Halloween event for families.
