Village of Alger Under Boil Water Advisory Following Water Main Break

The Village of Alger is under a boil advisory until further notice following a water main break that shut off water service throughout the village earlier this evening.

Residents are advised to follow precautions during the boil water advisory, including boiling water before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, using for pets, and other activities involving consumption.

The village says an update will be provided when the boil advisory has been lifted.
