
The Village of Forest Police Department is currently accepting applications for a part-time police officer. The position offers between 8 and 96 hours per month, primarily covering weekend shifts, with additional weekday shifts available as needed. The pay rate is $20 per hour and falls under the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver’s license with a good driving record, OPOTA certification, and must be eligible to work in the United States.
Applications can be picked up at the Village of Forest Municipal Building, 211 W. Lima St., between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
