The Waldo Sportsman’s Club will host its annual Coyote Roundup January 16 through January 18, 2026, with registration scheduled for Thursday, January 15.
Registration and sign-in will take place at the Waldo Sportsman’s Club rear building, located at 735 Waldo Western Road in Prospect. Hunters may register from noon to 2 p.m. and again from 6 to 9 p.m.
One representative may register an entire group, and hunting may begin following evening registration.
The hunt will run Friday through Sunday, with Ohio state game laws applying. Participants may hunt anywhere they have written permission, and all legal means of harvest are permitted.
Check-ins are scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings. Final check-in will be held Sunday, January 18, from 5 to 6 p.m.
Following the final check-in, participants will be directed to the main clubhouse for awards, food, and social time beginning at 6 p.m. A small donation for the meal is appreciated but not required.
Cash prizes will be awarded to first through fourth place for the most coyotes checked in, with an additional cash prize for the heaviest coyote harvested. In the event of a tie, total weight will determine placement. All decisions made by event staff are final.
