Weather Alert: Blowing Dust Reducing Visibility in Hardin, Mercer, and Auglaize Counties
According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH, strong winds and dry conditions are creating areas of blowing dust across Hardin, Mercer, and Auglaize counties—including Kenton, Ada, Celina, Coldwater, Wapakoneta, St. Marys, New Bremen, and Minster.
Visibility may drop to one mile or less in some spots, so motorists are advised to slow down and leave extra distance between vehicles.
As winds gradually ease later this afternoon and into the evening, the blowing dust is expected to diminish.
