Two people were injured in a crash that occurred this past Wednesday afternoon on U.S. 33 in Logan County.

According to a release from the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol,  23-year-old Sarah Vam Dyke lost control of her car while driving west on 33.

The vehicle traveled into the eastbound lanes and struck a car being operated by 20-year-old Aaron Roy, of Bellefontaine.

After the collision, Van Dyke’s car overturned.

Both drivers were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injures.

Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor, and both drivers were found to be wearing a properly adjusted seat belt.

The Patrol reminds motorists to use caution when traveling during adverse weather conditions, and to always wear a properly adjusted seat belt, every time you are in a motor vehicle.
