The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office recently implemented a new mass notification system.

The system will send you alerts for severe weather and other emergency situations.

You can choose to receive the alerts by text or email.

The Sheriff’s Department also noted, when signing up for RAVE, if you do not see your phone carrier listed as an option, you should select a different one. They said that even if you choose a different carrier than the one you have, it will still work and will let you continue the sign up process.

The Sheriff’s Office will still post notifications on their Facebook page or their mobile app.
