Obituary for Alice Roberta (Height) Cook

Alice Roberta (Height) Cook passed away April 1, 2026.  She was born to the late Charles H and Margaret Isabel (Rambo) Height.  She married Paul F. Cook on May 29, 1954 and he passed away on June 13, 2007.

Surviving are two daughters; Teresa (Dean) Swavel and Julie (Dennis) Swavel, stepsons; Gary Cook and Larry Cook, both deceased, grandchildren; Drew (Danielle) Swavel, Kristin (Jacob) Martin, Erin (Terry) Perrigo, and Brendan Swavel, step grandchildren; Rob Cook, Shawn, Mollie, and Christopher Cook, great-grandchildren; Mason, Aiden, and Layton Swavel, Faith Martin, Jackson, Lucas, and Knox Perrigo, and Addilyn Swavel, and step great-grandchildren. 

Also survived by a brother Robert (Ann deceased), sister; Mary Ann (Lauren deceased).  A brother John is deceased.  Many nieces and nephews survive.

Alice graduated from Kenton High School in 1947.  She was a legal secretary for many years, was an election worker and bowled for many years.  She volunteered at  Hardin County Senior Center.  Alice was a lifelong member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church were she served as benevolent secretary and sang in the choir.

Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2026 from 12 to 2 PM. at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral, Home, 200 E. Columbus St. Kenton, OH.  Funeral services will follow at 2 PM. With Rev. Tomas Pistoria and Rev. Jay Height officiating.  Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Universal Home Health and Hospice, Tranquilty Hospice,  or the donors choice.
