Obituary for Alyssa Jay McClain

A celebration of life for Alyssa Jay McClain will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Alyssa Jay McClain, beloved and beautiful daughter, sister, aunt and friend was born on August 7, 1995 to Jason and Laralee McClain.

Alyssa unexpectedly left this world to be in the arms of the Lord on April 30, 2026. She brought such a gracious amount of love and laughter into the lives of any and every soul she had met. Alyssa didn’t know a stranger. She was known for her outgoing and adventurous personality and attitude as well as her gorgeous long, blonde hair. Alyssa was a trend setter and a goal achiever. She could and would accomplish anything that she set her mind to.

Alyssa is survived by her parents, Jason and Lauralee McClain, her loving daughter, Presley, as well as her three siblings; Angelica, Jonathon and Lauren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gary and Pamela McClain.

Alyssa attended school and graduated from USV, Upper Scioto Valley Schools. She had an unmatched love for dancing and singing with her family and friends. Her love for her dad Jason was larger than life. She brought joy to many through her sense of humor and her beautiful, great white smile that was effortlessly contagious.

Her memory will forever live on throughout the lives of the ones most important to her heart, her family. 

Memorial contributions in Alyssa honor’s may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
