Obituary for April A. Franklin
April A. Franklin, age 68, of Ada, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Lima Memorial Health System, surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 10, 1956 in Lima, Ohio to the J. Larry and J. Carol (Graham) Klingler.
April is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Larry) Bontempo; three grandchildren; and four siblings: James (Carla) Klingler of Lima, Todd (Melissa) Klingler of Ada, Joyce (Michael) Fledderjohann of Lima and Erin (Jason) Lehman of Ada.
April was retired from Grossmont Hospital in San Diego, California where she worked as a nurse. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church of Ada.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Don Ayers officiating. Burial will be in Candler Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday, March 17th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church at 2955 County Road 20, Ada, Ohio 45810.
