Audrey L. Wetherill age 95 formerly of Upper Sandusky, has resided in Findlay the last four years, died at The Manor at Greendale on Dec. 25, 2023. She was born on Jan. 22, 1928 in Hardin Co. to the late Harry L. and Florence E. (Metzger) Mentzer. She married Boyd R. Wetherill on June 15, 1947, he preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1984. She is survived by a son James B. (Kathryn) Wetherill, Upper Sandusky and a daughter Susan E. (Michael) Betts, Findlay, grandchildren Nicole Harris, Evan Touchette, Kevin Betts, Daniel Betts and Sarah Betts, great grandchildren Brayden, Natalee, Logan, Nolan and Waylon. She is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
She retired from Wyandot Co. Clerk of Courts Title Office after being employed for 16 years.
Mrs. Wetherill was a member of John Stewart United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed sewing, making grand kids clothing, she was an artistic painter, enjoyed doing puzzles, reading mysteries, traveling to family gatherings, knitting, crocheting and attending high school reunions at Kenton High School.
Funeral services will be held on Fri. Dec. 29, 2023 at 12:00PM at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Cravens officiating. Interment will be in Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the funeral home before time of services on Dec. 29, 2023.
