Funeral Services for Barbara L. Graham-Yoakam will be held at 12:00 P.M. Noon on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Steve Hess and Pastor Tom Hanks officiating. Burial will follow at Yoder Cemetery in Bellefontaine. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.
Barbara passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Society in Arlington. She was born on April 2, 1937 in Kenton as one of five children to the late Russell and Mary (Emmons) Rostorfer. On August 10, 1956 she married Harry J. Graham and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1991. She then married Virgil Yoakam and he also preceded her in death.
Surviving are 4 children; Monty (Theresa) Graham of Tavares, Florida, Mary Ann Manns-Parker of Cullman, Alabama, Brenda (Kevin) Scott of Waynesfield, Lesa (Bill) Smith of Forest, 8 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; Deborah Valentine, a grandson, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was a Kenton High School graduate. She worked for Imperial Cup and Essex Wire but mostly she was a homemaker, because taking care of people was her passion.
She was a member of the Kenton Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
In her free time, Barbara enjoyed going dancing. She attended many couples and singles dances with her husband. She also loved to bake and cook meals for her family.
