Bert J. Adams, age 88, of Upper Sandusky died at Memorial Hospital, in Marysville Ohio on Fri. Oct. 17, 2025. He was born Nov. 14, 1936 in Tannery, KY to the late Benjamin and Ruth Belle (Clark) Adams.

He married Shirley Brindle in 1959, and they were later divorced. He married Ruby (Roberts) Sanford on Oct. 5, 1985, she preceded him in death on Jan. 4, 2010, and Barbara Roberts, his dear companion of 15 years, proceeded him in death on July 17, 2025. Mr. Adams is survived by sons Troy (Hope) Adams, Copperas Cove, TX, Jeffery (Lisa) Adams, Monroe, MI, Trevor (Carolyn) Adams, Marysville, Derrick (Miranda) Adams Bucyrus, OH, grandchildren Benjamin (Priscilla) Adams TX, Ashlee (Keith) Adams OH, Heather (Dan) Adams, OH, Stephanie (Scott) Adams, MI, Victoria Adams, OH, Tyler Adams, OH, Stormi (Tyler) Grimes, OH, Haley Adams, OH, Spencer (Brandie) Adams, Ky, Brandon (Casey) Robinson OH, Heather (Brent) Yingling OH, a daughter-in-law Patricia (Dean) Sanford, McCutchenville, OH, Grandchildren, Christoper (Erin) Lynch, OH, Kimberly Early, VA, Valerie (Noah) Meier, OH, and 29 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by siblings Wilbur Adams, Ithel Adams, Willard Adams, John Adams, Earl Adams, Marie Adams, Ruth Groves, Inez Blaskeslee, Winnifred Edington and a step-son Dean Sanford.

He graduated from Nevada High School in 1954, and served in the United States Army from 1956-1958, he was recalled in Oct. 1961- Feb. 1962.

Mr. Adams retired from Dayco Swan on Jan. 1, 1999 with 40 years of employment where he was a supervisor in the Development Center. He was a member of Community Christian Center, Upper Sandusky, Rod & Gun Club, Upper Sandusky and American Legion, Nevada. Mr. Adams loved the lord and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting, fishing, watching wrestling, traveling and spending time with family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Fri. Oct. 24, 2025 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Old Mission Cemetery.

Visitation is from 10:00AM-12:00PM the day of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Christian Center in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
