Bremen Curtis Jenkins, age 49 of Lithia, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 6, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 7, 1976, in Tampa, Florida, to Alvis and Alice (Porter) Jenkins, and he is survived by his father.

Curtis was a man after God’s own heart. He put God first in everything that he did and was a wonderful example of how a Godly man should live. He was very active in the Brandon Church of God and worked with the local youth group. He married the love of his life, Laurie (Clement) Jenkins on August 29, 1998, and she survives. He was a very attentive and loving husband and father and cherished spending time with his children. He owned and operated Bremen C. Jenkins Trucking in Florida with his four sons who survive him: Dylan (Hannah) Jenkins, Jack Jenkins, Jayce Jenkins, and Gary Jenkins. He is also survived by sister: Valerie (Robert) Evans of Lithia; grandchild: Oakleigh Merrideth Jenkins; and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; Alice Jenkins; and son: Brandon Jenkins.

He was a very creative and inventive engineer and liked to build and work with his hands. He loved to joke with everyone and liked working on model Railroad trains and antique vehicles. He was a man who truly enjoyed life and cherished the people around him and he will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the residence of Gary and Bonnie Clement. Contact Natalie Espinoza for details. Arrangements for the Jenkins family are in the care of SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Kenton. Memorial contributions may be made to Brandon Church of God.
