Obituary for Brenda Gail (Manns) Schwartz

Brenda Gail (Manns) Schwartz, entered her Heavenly home on February 22, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1949, to Herbert and Christine Manns. She graduated from Kenton High School in 1968. She married Robert “Les” Schwartz on April 16, 1971.

Brenda is survived by her children; David (Monica) Schwartz, of Kenton, Christine (John) Kennedy, of Kenton, and Robert (Danee) Schwartz, of Findlay, grandchildren; Jocelyn Renkert(Hayden Ellis), Thane (Amber) Schwartz, Lyndsey Schwartz, Breanna (Andrew) Streaker, Alexandra Kennedy, Gillian Kennedy, Sydnee Gunka, Max Gunka, and Kolbie Gunka, great-grandchildren; Adelynne, Tharyn, Hudson, Charlotte, Corinne, Colette, Ella, and Krew. Siblings; Larry Manns ,of Kenton, Sharon Pifer of Texas, Eva Manns, of Kenton, and Kevin Manns, of California, several nieces and nephews, and a close friend, Kathy Messenger.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Christine, husband; Les Schwartz, brother; Michael Manns, and nephew; Chad Manns.

Brenda’s greatest joys in life were her family and her deep faith in the Lord. She had a big heart and was always willing to help someone else, when she could. She also enjoyed reading and a sweet treat.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone at Logan Acres Care Facility and Via Quest Hospice, who befriended Brenda and cared for her the past few years

A memorial Service will be held on March 14,2026 at 11 AM. At the First Church of God in Ridgeway, 141 E. Oak St. Ridgeway, OH, 43345. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the memorial service.
