Funeral services for Carolyn “Susy” (Mulholland) Moe will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Preston Cemetery in Alger. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.
Susy passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 25, 1946 in Alger to the late Richard and Mary (Legge) Mulholland. On February 8, 1964 she married Willis S. Moe Jr who survives.
Also surviving are 3 children: Regina (Kevin) McQuown of Kenton, Darron (Dawn) Moe of Forest, Tim (Lucinda) Moe of Mt. Victory, 7 grandchildren; Krystal Strahm, Kristin Burris, Brittany Hutchison, Courtney Moe, Hailey Bowens, Madison Collins, Gaige Long, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters; Barb (Dave) Maley, Maxine (Brian) Hensley, Betty (Randy) Reed, Vickie (Bill) Roszman, 2 brothers; Bill (Carol) Mulholland, Tom (Delores) Mulholland, a sister-in-law; Kathy Mulholland, a brother-in-law; Ron (Judy) Moe and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son; Aaron Moe, a sister; Louella Dunson, 3 brothers: Jerry, Lester, and Larry Mulholland, and a sister-in-law; Janie Rosser.
Susie retired from Walmart after 25 years of service in Upper Sandusky. She attended Central Church of Christ in Kenton.
In her younger years, Susy loved to sew, and also be in the kitchen decorating wedding cakes, baking, and making homemade noodles. She also loved to travel with her husband to her favorite vacation spot, Cades Cove in Tennessee.
Memorial donations in Susy’s honor may be made to Universal Home Health & Hospice Care of Kenton or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
