Chalmer retired from the Local #329 after working thirty years of service. He was an avid lover of music and enjoyed playing his banjo with his many bands. Chalmer proudly won a banjo picking contest and was the number one banjo player in all of Hardin County, Ohio. He loved his family and working around his garage keeping up on his lawn and property. Chalmer loved listening and playing his music. In the last years of his life Chalmer’s faith only grew stronger as he struggled with illness and Alzheimer, always keeping a smile for everyone. There will be a void in our hearts, we will forever love and miss him.
A celebration of Chalmer’s life will be held at a later date.
