Charles B. Ulrich

Charles “Chuck” Brian Ulrich, age 69, of Upper Sandusky, passed away peacefully at Marion General Hospital on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

Born on March 26, 1956, in Upper Sandusky, Chuck was the son of Paul R. and Neva Maxine (Lay) Ulrich, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard P. Ulrich. He is survived by his brother, James E. (Maria) Ulrich of Upper Sandusky; nieces Heather Cano of Harpster and Beth Simmons of Newbern, North Carolina; nephew Nathaniel Ulrich of Upper Sandusky; and great-nieces Harper and Eden Cano.

A man of strong Methodist faith. He graduated from Upper Sandusky High School and earned a business degree from Marion Technical College. He began his professional life in banking, working in Carey and Upper Sandusky, and later became the owner and operator of Richardson Flower Shop, where he shared his creativity and kindness with the community.

Chuck was an active and valued member of Upper Sandusky. He belonged to the Elks Lodge BPOE #83, the Moose Lodge #1093 of Upper Sandusky, served on the board of Senior Village, and was a proud member of Stone Crossing Golf Club, where he also worked part-time.

He enjoyed bowling, croquet, badminton, and was an avid golfer. Chuck had many trips to New York over the years and had a love for Broadway. Chuck also had a deep love for animals, especially his beloved dog Coco and many other dogs who held a special place in his heart over the years.

Known for his friendly spirit, easy laugh, and generous heart, Chuck touched many lives and will be remembered with love.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Betsy Bowen officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. A private burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to Senior Village or the Upper Sandusky High School Class of 1975, in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home, 226 E. Wyandot Ave., Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
