Claude E. Slone age 78 of rural Upper Sandusky died May 11, 2024 at his residence. He was born Mar. 19, 1946 in Knott County KY to the late Golden & Laura (Huff) Slone. He married Marcia Pack on Nov. 11, 1969 and she passed on Nov. 28, 2001.
Mr. Slone is survived by 3 sons Claude A. (Kelly) Slone, Bucyrus, Jeffery (Theresa) Slone, Clyde, Micheal (Tammy) Slone, Upper Sandusky, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a brother Willard Slone, KY, a sister Myrtle King, McCutchenville. He was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 1 sister.
He was a coal miner in Kentucky for over 20 years, and a member of the UMWA. Mr. Slone was an avid Kentucky Wildcat Basketball fan, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 5-7PM Tuesday May 14, 2024 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home. Memorial donations in his honor may be made to Wyandot Memorial Hospital Oncology Dept., or Wyandot Memorial Hospice in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
